Supporting Green Key to Unlock Sustainability in Tourism in Wales

路易丝Dixeyfrom the Next Tourism Generation Alliance partner,Cardiff Met, has been appointed to the National Jury for Green Key by Keep Wales Tidy. Green Key is the largest environmental accreditation award internationally.

On November 14, Louise attended Jury training at the Bute Park Education Centre that has applied for Green Key accreditation. The Centre generates and sells solar energy and has reclaimed bricks, high levels of insulation, a grass roof, a wormery, rainwater collection, and an onsite sewage treatment plant. The role of the Jury is to provide third party independent verification of the awarding of the accreditation.
