PM4SD Summer School Programme, Paris 2018

Please consider taking advantage of the unique opportunity to join us for the 6th edition of the PM4SD Summer School in cooperation with theNext Tourism Generation Alliance (NTG) Leadership and Governance for Sustainable Tourism”October 9th to 12th of October.The event is limited and only a few places remain.

This edition will be hosted byVillages Nature Paris, a joint venture with Pierre et Vacances and Disneyland Paris. The venue is a global model for sustainable tourism. We will spend three days at the site with dynamic lectures, networking activities, and experiential learning in this extraordinary resort. On the 12th we will be treated to tour of Euro Disney including a trip to their headquarters, special lunch at the Disneyland Paris hotel, a guided tour and green walk through the park and more.

The Summer School is a 3-day High-Level event, co-organized by the Foundation for European Sustainable Tourism (FEST) and the European Travel Commission (ETC) to address one of the most important themes in the tourism industry: how to plan and deliver transformative tourism projects and initiatives to generate a sustainable visitor economy. The 2018 topic is “Skills, Careers and strategic alliances for Sustainable tourism”. The key delivering partners are: Villages Nature, the Next Tourism Generation Alliance, the Blue Community, and Disneyland Paris.

The 2018 Summer School is indeed the first public event for the EU initiative Next Tourism Generation Alliance (NTG ), ”, a project founded by European Commission, involving 14 partners and coordinating by Federturismo Confindustria.

NTG is the first European partnership and alliance to create transformative cooperation for skills and careers between education and industry in five key tourism sub-sectors: hospitality, food and beverage operations, travel agencies and tour operators, visitor attractions and destination management
