Next Tourism Generation represented at Vakantiebeurs (Travel Fair)

This week, Dutch organizations in tourism and travel are gathering at the 50th edition of the ‘Vakantiebeurs’ – the largest Travel Fair of the Netherlands. Besides presenting their business at the Travel Fair to consumers, there are also multiple events organized focusing on B2B. On Tuesday, the second edition of the Travel Congress took place where multiple keynotes discussed the ‘Traveler of the Future’, highlighting digital, green and social aspects that are of the importance of the changing customer journey.

On Thursday, theNext Tourism Generationproject will be represented at two sessions. Firstly,Lorainne van Liere, online communication of NTG, will be on stage at the Travel Talent Event as a Young Professional, together with the CEO ofBetter Placesand the owner of start-upGoBoony. This event will focus on representing the tourism and hospitality industry towards upcoming young professionals, by sharing interesting insights into the ‘daily life of a tourism/hospitality organization’.

In the afternoon, Lobke Elbers will be present on behalf of NTG at the LTH Tech Summit, powered by CELTH & NTG, where educators in Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality will connect to discuss interesting insights in the future of education and the implementation of digital skills.
